Tinicum Cross'n - Stovers Mill, Pennsylvania, USA

Throughout the USA there are mills from decades ago that once ground the maze (corn) and wheat, and other grains that made up the breads, beers, flours, and animal feeds used in the period.  Stover's Mill is one such mill that has been restored and is open to the public almost daily (check for hours).  The mill used the waters of the Delaware river for the power needed to turn the heavy grinding stones.  Stop in and say hello to the caretaker guides, and ask questions, they are friendly people and will be happy to guide you through the process.  Notes of caution, the PRIVATE home across the street is just that, PRIVATE, do not trespass.  Also, Route # 32 is a busy road and parking is on the opposite side from the mill, therefore be careful of the traffic.  Otherwise enjoy some Pennsylvania History...
