Franchises

Many vehicle rental companies are franchises of the major rental brand, and therefore they are usually responsible to and controlled by the Franchiser.  The Franchiser usually makes the contracts and the rules and the local rental agencies have little room to “play” or change the rules, thus if you are shopping around you can go to the Internet and view the contracts, rules, prices, availabilities, discounts, and the make and models offered.
