Websites, finding information?

Finding information is one of the more important concerns of a traveler that is about to spend his or her hard-earned money visiting your attraction.

The usual brochure, mailer, website URL (Internet address), Chamber of Commerce, or Visitor's Bureau advertisement contains a highlighted description of the attraction, the location, and maybe the hours of operation and the cost. Most do not contain the specifics of the attraction, and therefore one has to go to the website for that attraction's information.

Once on the website one hopes to obtain information that will aid in the decision to visit the attraction, and aid in the visit of the attraction. Unfortunately, many of the websites do NOT contain the proper information, or make it difficult to find the information.

What are needed are clear directions to information on where the attraction is physically located, to whom the attraction is geared, the parking facilities, the hours of operation, the best hours or days to attend, the availability of restrooms, and to handicapped ramps, parking, and facilities; the particulars of the site and the attraction, and if there are any specific situations that can be of concern to the parents of children, the adult seniors, and those that do not understand or speak American English.

Links to the proper pages should all be provided on the first or Index or Content page of the website. Some of the best examples are the National Park Service websites, but even there we have found some that are incomplete or did not provide full disclosure information.

Tip, the website should have a single 8.5" x 11" printable text page that provides the necessary information, that way the visitor can click one button and print the page for his or her travel itinerary booklet.

El hallazgo de de información es uno de los intereses más importantes de un viajero que está para gasta su o la duro - ganado dinero visita su atracción.

estacionamiento, las horas de operación, las mejores horas o días para asistir, la disponibilidad de restrooms, incapacitada rampas, estacionamiento, y las instalaciones, los particular del sitio y la atracción, y si hay cualquier situaciones específicas que pueden ser de interés al padre de niños, el adulto seniors, y esos que not comprenden o
hablan Inglés de Estadounidense.

Los nexos a las páginas apropiadas deberían todos se proveer sobre el primero o Indice o página Contenta del website.  Algunos de los mejores ejemplos son el Parque Nacional Atiende websites, pero parejo allí nosotros hemos encontrado algunos que son incompletos o no proveyeron información llena de divulgación.
