Tourist Coordination - NOT!

We recently attempted to plan out a three week USA vacation where we would be visiting several attractions that are located with in a day's drive of each. To do this we contacted several vehicle rental companies and several motel / hotel chains in an effort to find a 'single' source that could make the nightly reservations and provide a 'bulk' purchase price.

To our astonishment we not only could NOT do this, but we found that within each company contacted there were wide variations in rules, pricing, and means of securing the reservations. Thus, even though we were dealing with specific name 'brand' establishments, we find that the establishments are in 'name' only and 'individually' owned and operated. Thus, motel brand 'A' in town 'A' will have totally different rates in town 'B', etc.

We feel that this is a 'missed' opportunity for these brands and their franchise owners. We ended up changing the trip due to NOT being able to find affordable reservations at the dates and times wanted, and thus shopped several rentals and accommodations, spreading the wealth to others. We also have cancelled several proposed trips due to not being able to properly coordinate the trip with local events or attractions.

Nosotros recientemente intentados de planificar fuera una tres semana vacaciones DE EUA donde nosotros visitaríamos varios atracciones que se ubican con en el paseo de un día de cada. Para hacer estas nosotros llamamos varios compañías de arriendo de vehículo y varios motel / cadenas hoteleras en un esfuerzo para encontrar una'singléfuente que puede hacer las reservas nocturnas y proveen un'bulk'precio de compra.

A nuestro pasmo nosotros no solamente NO podríamos hacer esto, pero nosotros encontramos que dentro de cada compañía llamó había variaciones amplias en reglas, valuación, y medios de asegurar las reservas. Así, si bien nosotros repartíamos con el nombre específico'brand'los establecimientos, nosotros encontramos que los establecimientos están en'naméúnicos y 'individually'propios y operados. Así, la marca de motel'Aen el pueblo'Atendrá tarifa totalmente diferente en el pueblo 'B', etc.

Nosotros sentimos que esta es una'missed'la oportunidad para estas marcas y sus propietarios de concesión. Nosotros acabados por cambiar el viaje debido a NO siendo capaz de encontrar reservas razonables en las fechas y veces quiso, y así compró varios que arriendos y los alojamientos, esparcieran la riqueza a otros. Nosotros también hemos anulado varios viajes propuestos debido a no siendo capaz de adecuadamente coordinar el viaje con atracciones o sucesos locales.
