Parking at the sites, sights, motels, and restaurants

Parking problems - RVs, pickup trucks, campers, busses, cars, fees, etc. - There are many parking places for cars and small pickup trucks with low camper tops, but few places for busses, large camper units, and recreational vehicles. Independence square in downtown Philadelphia is an example where the parking in under the National Park and the physical height of the parking area restricts many larger vehicles.

Many motels, hotels, restaurants and tourist locations also have either limited parking, or parking that is not suited for large vehicles. There are overhangs that are too low, corners that are too sharp, spaces that are too small, etc.

Thus, if you want customers, be smart and offer one or two or more parking spots for these larger vehicles, and advertize that you have these spaces, you may just find that your business will increase.

Also, be sure to keep others out of these spaces and be sure the spaces are cleaned of junk and snow. Provide adequate directions to those entering or leaving your property that have these large vehicles.
