Language and Signage
In traveling around the USA one soon notices that there are more foreign tourist than home-grown tourist, especially in places like Philadelphia, New York City, the Grand Canyon, Yellowstone, and Yosemite. You may also notice that many of the posters, placards, and handouts are written in English, Spanish, French, Japanese or …..?
America is the 'melting pot' and it is good to see that are tourist attractions have realized that it is of value to have translations available to those who do not speak American English. Now if we could just have translations of Brooklynize and Southern slang we would have it made, joke, joke….
Are signs and other important information available for non-English speaking visitors? This can be a major problem for those visitors that are driving in the USA, as many, if not most, of our road sides and directions are NOT in the form of the International Standards. {see pages on signage in America}.
The USA has always gone its 'separate' way as it is the 500 pound gorilla in the zoo of mankind, but in recent times the USA's domination of the world has been declining and therefore, we now have to start catering to the others, or lose out and become a nation that is isolated from the world. Yes, we are the only nation with the Grand Canyon, Niagara Falls, and many other interesting sights, but there are countries that have bigger canyons, wider and higher falls, volcanic lava fields and caves, beautiful lakes and deserts, etc., so we must not get too complacent in our ways.
Be a true American and cater to the interest of the foreigner that has spent a bundle of his or her money to research the trip, make the journey, and hopes to enjoy what we have to offer.

En viajar alrededor los EUA uno pronto avisos que hay turista más extranjero que hogar - crecido turista, especialmente en lugares como Filadelfia, Ciudad de Nueva York, el Desfiladero Grandioso, Yellowstone, y Yosemite. Usted puede notar también
que muchos de los carteles, carteles, y los volantes se escriben en Ingleses, Españoles, Franceses, Japonéses o …. ?

Ahora si nosotros podríamos tener simplemente traducciones de Brooklynize y el argot Sur nosotros tendríamos hecho, bromeado, joke… Son señales y la otra información importante disponible para no - Inglés que
habla visitadores? Esto puede ser un problema importante para esos visitadores que conducen en el EUA, como muchos, si no la mayoría, de nuestro camino de lados y las direcciones NO son en forma de las Normas Internacionales. {vea páginas en signage en la América}.
La EUA ha ido siempre su'separatémanera como es el 500 gorila de libra en la zoológico de humanidad, pero en veces las recientes dominación del EUA del mundo ha declinado y por lo tanto, nosotros ahora tenemos que comenzar proveyendo a las otras, o perdido fuera y llegado a ser una nación que se aisla desde el mundo. Sí, nosotros somos la nación única con el Desfiladero Grandioso, Niagara Cae, y muchas otras vistas interesantes, pero hay países que tienen desfiladeros más grandes, caídas más amplias y más altas, volcánicas cuevas y campos de lava, desiertos y lagos hermosos, etc., tan nosotros no debemos conseguir demasiado complaciente en nuestras maneras.
Ser un cierto Estadounidense y proveído al interés del extranjero que ha gastado un fajo de su o su dinero para investigar el viaje, hacer el viaje, y esperar para disfrutar qué nosotros tenemos que ofrecer.
