There is a rail line in Jim Thorpe, Pennsylvania that provides tourist with rides through this northern Pennsylvania landscape that once was home to massive coal mining.  The history of the coal mines and the great flood are listed on the walls of the train station, which is today the Tourist Bureau of Jim Thorpe.  You can get information, see museum artifacts, and visit the public bathrooms at this station.  Call ahead for times and dates that the train is running.
