(As passed down through the Southern Baptist Churches)
Happy Birthday, Kathy
But, please don't hold me liable.
First time I've made this "Scripture" cake,
As printed in the Bible.
Two cups each of nuts and figs,
And, oh yes, then the raisins.
The darn thing got so heavy,
It was really quite amazing.
It took me seven hours,
But, it really didn't matter.
Still, you need the strength of Sampson,
Just to stir in all the batter.
So, if you break a tooth on it,
And the dentist finally "caps" it,
Don't blame the problem on the cook,
Just blame your Southern Baptist.
