Whatever can go wrong, will.
There's the roast that burned
And the cake the fell,
(they never did that before)
That company's coming
We can tell,
Oh yeah, that's Murphy's law.
Your supper hour's spent
In line at the bank,
Just a few bucks you want to withdraw.
You finally arrive
But its five after five
And the girl quits to count out her drawer.
That's Murphy's Law.
You've scrimped every dollar
And you thing it would "Foller"
That your new mink would sweet joy attain,
But in true Murphy spirit,
The first time you wear it
What do you get, RAIN!
Murphy strikes again!
So, by now you must know
That wherever you go
Or, whatever you do, just beware,
'Cause I'm trying to warn ya'
That around any corner
You may turn and find Murphy is there!
