If I was a little raindrop

I'd land in a stream on a mountain top,

And ride that stream right out to the sea,

'Cause that's the life for me.

If I was a gigantic dinosaur,

I'd stomp through town & you'd hear me roar,

And I'd peek in the windows--on the twenty-first floor

'Cause that's the life for me.

Still, raindrops in the ocean dark

Are sometimes swallowed by a shark.

And dinosaurs, like those, I think,

Are very, very much extinct,

So, I think I'll just be me.
