Hes underfoot,
Youre overwrought,
The dishes are still in the sink.
To him, it dont matter,
Your routine he will shatter
with Hey babe, will you get me a drink?
Your expertise of many years
Is sorely put to test.
No matter what the chore, youll learn
That HIS way is the best.
But at night when hes sleeping beside
you
And you lay with your head on his chest,
And his warmth makes it known
That youre never alone,
Then, thank God cause you know
youve been blest.
