Grandmas' Gone Mod

We're modern grandmas on the march

Don't want your ol' rocking chair;

You'll find us on trains and planes and bus,

You'll find us everywhere.

Our kids are grown, our work is done,

We're going to have our fling.

We've earned the right to have some fun,

We'll try most anything.

Our Grandmas would be shocked to see,

The change in our society.

In 'form-fit' blouses and old blue jeans,

The modern grandmas make the scenes.

We put behind the prototype,

And glad we did, but then

The Grandkids call with a kiss or gripe,

And we're good ol' grandmas again.
