It doesn't ask what will you give?

Or, where it's going to go.

 

It doesn't need a lot to live,

And, like the flowers grow.

 

A loving act, an tender thought,

Be there when things go wrong.

 

Overlook their little faults,

You'll find it won't be long

 

'Til like the seed,

That wends its way.

 

And soon begins to flower,

Your friendship, too

 

Once fragile and new,

Will have its finest hour.
