Did you stop to think
When you took that drink
All the misery you would cause?
With your foot on the gas
And your driving so fast
Did you even just once give pause;
An ego trip, a fuzzy view
Or just a game you play?
‘Twas a stupid game, a deadly game
For which we both must pay.
As I ponder my life
On the grave of my wife,
The woman that you put there
My one and only,
And God knows I’m lonely,
I wonder, do you even care?
